  • UL4703 approved, 600 volt photovoltaic wire cable with pure copper conductors + PV Connectors (one male + one female connector per cable). 0.25mm diameter copper strands for extra flexibility (65 strands 12 AWG, 105 strands 10 AWG, 168 strands 8 AWG). Amperage ratings: 30A for 12AWG, 40A for 10AWG, 55A for 8AWG. The pure copper conductors allow for ultra-low resistance to insure maximum electrical efficiency for your solar system!
  • Quick and easy connection system: Each PV wire arrives terminated with one male PV Connector and one Male PV Connector that are compatible with all industry standard PV Connectors, making it easy to install the cable within your solar system. The PV Connectors are weatherproof and waterproof (IP67 rating) and can withstand extreme heat and cold.
  • PV solar extension cable is outdoor rated with a heavy duty, durable XLPE insulation making it resistant to heat, cold, UV sunlight, and abrasion. Operating temperature range -40C to 90C (-40F to 194F) in wet or dry conditions. UL4703 PV cable is also rated for direct burial use.
  • National Electric Code Approval: Photovoltaic module interconnection cable for use with or without a raceway in accordance with the Wiring Systems, Article 690 in the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70.
  • WindyNation’s PV extension cables are assembled in the USA using automated pneumatic crimping machines to ensure a robust high-quality connection and undergo quality control inspections before they leave our factory in California.
