  • Palaeocarcharodon is an long extinct shark species, also called the pygmy white shark, which possibly was only up to 1m in length. These fossils are incredibly old, dating back up to 62 million years, and are considered the early ancestor of much larger predators like Megalodon and Otodus. They provide valuable insights into the ancient marine ecosystems and the evolution of shark species
  • This specimen is rescued and preserved from Khourigba, Morocco where many other marine fossils are found. Unfortunately most fossils are destroyed at a commercial phosphate mining pit in the process of crushing rock to extract industrial minerals.
