These mantis species have thrived in the ecosystem for over 125 years from 1896 and classified as “Naturalized” offering an eco-friendly addition to gardens and educational projects.
- Simple Indoor or Outdoor Hatching: Easily hatch mantis ootheca eggs indoors or outdoors. Indoors, place in a warm spot at 75-85°F to hatch in 2-6 weeks, it can take 2-12 weeks at 70°F. Outdoors, Place in crotch of plant or hang with a string approximately 1-2 feet off the ground in the canopy of a tree to hide from animals and birds. Perfect for classrooms, greenhouses, gardens, or orchards.
