  • This is a group of 10 "flawed" Blue Death Feigning Beetles (Asbolus verrucosus). Flawed beetles are healthy but have imperfections such as: a missing leg or part of the leg, a missing antenna or part of the antenna, a scar or imperfection on the outer shell (elytra).
  • These imperfections happen naturally in nature and generally these beetles go on to live long, active and normal lives. This is a great opportunity to own a colony of blue death feigning beetles for the price of a few. Seeing blue beetles interact in groups is one of the best things about them. Some flaws are barely noticeable and will not prevent you from enjoying these amazing pet insects. Flawed beetles need love too!

However, if your local temperatures are above 85°F, we must ship the package to be held at your nearest Post Office for pickup. We will message you (via Amazon messaging) after you place your order to confirm that it is ok to ship to your local post office.   • We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience but there is no other way to make sure your beetles arrive safe. If you do not want to pick up your order from the post office, please place your order when your temperatures are below 85°F.
  • Note: All our insects are caught responsibly and we respect nature. Where we collect blue beetles, the populations are extremely large. We only take a very small percent of what we see and leave thousands behind so the blue beetle population will continue to thrive. We have been collecting for many years and the populations are larger than ever in the areas we collect.
